241 The Spirit left Him, in the Garden of Gethsemane. He had to die, a man. Remember, friends, He didn’t have to do that. That was God. God anointed that flesh, which was human flesh. And He didn’t… If He’d a went up there, as God, He’d have never died that kind of death; can’t kill God. But He didn’t have to do it.
242 But, remember, He went there with you in Him. See, God had never separated the Bride from the Groom, yet. So when God looked down upon the body of Christ, He saw both male and female. It was all redeemed in that one body. See? They are one, same, same Word. The same Word, spoke of the Groom, speaks of the Bride.

God annointed the human flesh of Jesus. That’s what made Him God. But we find here that the prophet said the annointing left Jesus so that Jesus could die. If the annointing would not have left in the Garden of Gethsemane then Jesus could not have died.

But this poses a striking question! If God left Jesus before He went to the cross then who died for our sins? Theres no question that if God wanted to be a saviour, God would have to die. But God is a spirit and could not die. So how did HE do it when His spirit had left Jesus?

316 Think of it, the Holy Ghost descending upon earth, Jesus, and that holy Blood! Now watch, and I hope I don’t go too deep for you, see. The holy Blood that was created by God; the Blood, the Life, the creation of God. “Jesus was the beginning of the creation of God.” Oh! You see it? God, made in creation. He was Spirit. The Bible said, “He is the beginning of the creation of God.” How did He begin? In the wombs of a woman. Which is what?

49 But, you see, God, the great Spirit, the Father, in Him was attributes, and these things that you see displayed now is just His attributes being displayed. He dwelt alone, He was not even God; God was an object of worship. He was the Great Eternal One. And in Him was attributes, such as to be Father, to be Saviour, to be Healer. And now, how could He first… He had to be Father, because it proves He was Father, but He dwells alone. He alone is immortal. And, now, but His attributes has to be displayed.
50 Now, to be a Saviour, there has to be something lost. And God cannot purposely lose anything and then redeem it. It wouldn’t be becoming to His holiness and His great judgment. But He put man on free moral agency, knowing that man would fall. And in that, then, He became man, Himself, in order to redeem back man that fell. That’s the reason that Jesus was Emmanuel. If God sent another person besides Himself, then that wouldn’t be just. God had to come Himself and take place. And God could not be come down in Spirit and take place, He had to be made flesh, in the flesh of His Own creative Son.
51 And He showed here, in the beginning, that His perfect will was to create man out of the dust of the earth. But, you see, He permitted sex to be brought in. He never did intend children to be born by sex, but it was permitted, which soon will fade away.

It was that precious created holy Life, in the Blood. He was the beginning of the creation of God before the Spirit of God descended upon Him at the river Jordan. God could only die as creation. No way for God to die spiritually. That created Son was perfect. He was created and acted exactly like God. That made Him the very extension of God. God extending Himself into dead humanity, born as the living Son of God. That is so good! God one with A man so that many men and women may be one with God. So that many men and women could walk perfectly before the Lord in the end!

E-36 Now, it’s many times it’s been said that no man can see God at any time, the Bible said so. But the only begotten of the Father has declared Him. Philip, here was very inquisitive; he wanted to see the Father. Says here He said, “I’ve been so long with you, Philip, and you don’t know Me?” Said, “When you see Me you see My Father.”
In other words, you see the Father express Hisself through the Son. Him and the Father were one in the sense that His Father was dwelling in Him, not Him doing the works; He was a Son, Himself, the immortal, virgin born, Son of God. And then in Him was dwelling the God the Father, expressing Hisself to the world, His attitude towards the people. See? Well, that’s how Christ and God were one. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Now, He said, “When you see Me, you see the Father, and why do you say, ‘Show us the Father?’”

Isn’t that a wonderful revelation. God working in a man. The prophet said God has always used man as His agent. He works through man. That was God’s choice.

Now, don’t we claim to be Sons and Daughters of God? How could God have a Son named Jesus and He is completely obediant to God and another Son that isn’t?
It can’t be. Do you see what God has in store for us? Completely and totally immersed in God and moving as He moves and doing as He does.

That is exactly what Jesus ask the Father to do. He ask that God would make us one with the Father as He was one with the Father.
That prayer must be answered!!! I want that more than this life ten times over!

87 Jesus said, “That they might be one, Father, as You and I are one.” Not for some man to be over something, it never will work; one denomination wants to take over the other, and one man over the other one. But that you might be one with God, like Christ and God was one, that’s what the prayer is. That, He was the Word, and Jesus prayed that we might be the Word, reflecting Him. That’s His prayer to be answered.
88 See how Satan scruples it up in the carnal mind? But that wasn’t Jesus’ prayer, at all, that we might all congregate together and all have a certain creed and so forth. Every time they do it, they go further and further from God.
89 He wants us to be one with God, and God is the Word. Each individual, in his heart, must be that one with God.
