DEDICATION.OF.BUILDING.TO.THE.LORD_ CLEVELAND.TN WEDNESDAY_ 59-0708M
E-14 What is it? The congregation, the sinner comes in and hears. That’s where he’s eating, how he learns that Jesus died in His stead, him being a guilty sinner, subject to death, and duly deserves death. But when he hears, “Faith cometh by hearing,” then he rises to his feet, and makes a testimony that he is not fit, but that he does believe and accepts the death of the Lord Jesus that He suffered in his stead, and that Jesus atoned for his sins; and he’s accepting it by faith through the Word. And he has–going to change his life from this on and live right.
Yet in that heart still, desires, the root of evil to do wrong because the tree’s just cut down. He can only be forgiven for what he done, not what Adam done, what he done, the sins that he did. He can ask forgiveness for what he did. But he cannot ask forgiveness for what Adam done. Then the Blood of Jesus Christ, through sanctification, comes in and cleanses that heart from all sin, and roots out every element of sin.
The word “sanctify,” people stumble at it. But it’s a Greek compound word which means “being cleaned and set aside for service.” The altar sanctified the vessel and cleansed it, and it was set aside for service. But being set aside for service isn’t in service yet. But when the Holy Spirit comes to this sanctified vessel, It fills it and puts it into service of the Lord.
What did Adam do? He died and in Adam all men died.

82-3 {93} Now, of course, when Adam fell to death, he brought death upon all creation. Now, he was given free moral agency. It was given to them just as we–so to make a choice.
WHO.DO.YOU.SAY.THIS.IS_ PHOENIX.AZ V-6 N-9 SUNDAY_ 64-1227
141 He made one man, and many man from that man. As all die in Adam, all live in Christ. He made one way of death, and they all walked into it. And He made a way of Life, and as many walks there has Life. Off of one Man, not a dozen man come dying. A dozen man didn’t have to sin. One man sinned one sin. One Man paid the complete penalty.
So Adam brought death on us all and you can’t ask for forgiveness of that. So what do you get forgiveness for? What you done. But the old sinner is still there?
Let me ask a question here. What allowed you to be forgiven? The Blood of Jesus Christ. But redemption was more than forgiveness. Redemption puts us back like we were in the Mind of God….perfect.
THE.FUTURE.HOME.OF.THE.HEAVENLY.BRIDEGROOM.AND.THE.EARTHLY.BRIDE_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-5 SUNDAY_ 64-0802
87 Now, the first step is “repentance towards God.” And then follows after that, is water baptism, “water baptism,” “Repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ.” See, water baptism follows, showing that repentance was genuine. Or, to “remit” our past sins, that has nothing to do with future sin. It only remits. “Repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ.” What for? “Remission.” Taking away of past sin has nothing to do with the future. Just, your sin has been chopped off, what you did.
88 You can’t repent for what Adam done. You never done it; Adam did. You just get forgiveness for what you done. The old nature is still there.
89 Let me take this board just a minute. [Brother Branham draws illustrations on the blackboard--Ed.] Now, here is a human heart. Now, I’m not… I’m a long ways from being an artist. Here is a human heart; and here is a human heart. Now, this one over here has a snake in it, that’s sin, here he has his life. This one over here has a dove in it, which is the Holy Spirit, here he has a Life. Well, this one here, he has malice, hatred, envy; that’s what’s causing it, is this fellow here. Well, this one over here has love, and joy, and long-suffering; and That’s what does it, down here.
90 Now, when you are asked, or you are forgiven of your sins, you’ve only done this, taken that away. But the thing that made you do it is still there. That’s the old root of evil; it’s still there. Notice, then you repent and are baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, that He forgave you of your sins. Notice.
91 Then, secondly, comes sanctification, which sets our mind in order for holiness, to think right. Taken away… sanctification is a compound Greek word, which means “cleaned, and set aside for service.”
92 Then, the next, comes the baptism of the Fire and Holy Ghost, that God might dwell in us. And the Fire of God cleanses our hearts from sin, and puts the Holy Ghost inside. Then we bring forth the same Life that This did, because That’s in us.
See what God was doing? In Luther He justified. In Wesley He sanctified. In Pentecost he burned the sacrifice! Then what? Then the old man is done away with. And what happens anytime something is done away with? Something better comes. That keeps on happening until it’s complete and perfection comes. See how Satan could impersonate all through the church ages and deceive people by setting on the church pew with them? Luther and Wesley and the Seventh Church Age message wasn’t perfection. But perfection has come! Forgiveness of sin wasn’t perfection because the old nature was still there. The blood had to stay on the Mercy seat through the church ages because the old nature was still there and until that old nature was done away with, time had to continue on. Imperfection can only exist in time. It can’t exist in Eternity. If it did it would mean God is imperfect.
THE.FUTURE.HOME.OF.THE.HEAVENLY.BRIDEGROOM.AND.THE.EARTHLY.BRIDE_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-5 SUNDAY_ 64-0802
82 If He healed a man at any time through the journey of life; let it be in the days of Jesus, the apostles, the prophets, whenever it was; when the same conditions is met, He’s got to do it again. That’s right. He doesn’t change. Man changes, time changes, age changes, dispensation changes, but God remains the same. He is perfect. What a hope that ought to give the sick people!
Oh it looks like He’s changing sometimes but He isn’t. Like He accepted the blood of bulls and goats and then He stopped. Or He accepted Luthers message in Luthers day but not in Wesley’s day. But HIS ORIGINAL OBJECTIVE NEVER CHANGED!
Now back to the original point. Forgiveness of sin was not the whole of redemption if it was then God would always have to stay on the mercy seat, because the old man would still be in our hearts and we would still be sinners. The thing that made us sin in the first place would still be there. See, those stages in the church ages were headed to something! Something much greater than forgiveness. MUCH MUCH MUCH GREATER THAN FORGIVENESS! As humans we always see things as imperfect and have a hard time comprehending how God looks at things. Anytime God does something it is perfect. When the old nature was taken from our hearts this day and the new creation took place it was the cresting of the wave of redemption. The new creature that I am never was in the pawn shop! God has no memory of it and some day this failing body and it’s memory will be done away with. The former things will not come into mind! Perfect creations of God expressed from the perfect thoughts in God’s perfect mind. And just think, it’s already begun because in this day was the true birth of the thoughts of God come. New Creation!
THE.INVISIBLE.UNION.OF.THE.BRIDE.OF.CHRIST_ SHP.LA V-2 N-15 THURSDAY_ 65-1125
223 Now, your old book is gone, with your old union. Now, your name in your old, in your… has been transferred. Now, you say, “Do you mean to tell me that my old book…” God put it in the Sea of His Forgetfulness. You stand perfectly before God.
224 Now, your name is now in the new Book; not the book of life, but the Lamb’s Book of Life, what the Lamb redeemed. Not the old book of your natural union, but your new, Bride. Hallelujah! Your new life is in the Lamb’s Book of Life, your marriage certificate, hallelujah, where your true Eternal germ, from the beginning, takes hold. Now you’re not only forgiven, but you’re justified. Glory! “Justified,” Romans 5:1 said. Yeah. Romans 5:1 said, “Therefore being justified by faith.”
225 Look up the word. The word don’t mean forgiven. The word means justified. It don’t mean you’re forgiven.
226 For instance, you heard I got drunk and–and done some evil things, and everything. Then you come around, say to me. You found out I didn’t do them, then you come around, say, “Brother Branham, I forgive you.” Forgive me? I didn’t do it, at the first place. See?
I hope I’m making this a clear as it can be. When we are forgiven isn’t when your eternal germ takes hold. It’s when we are justified. The NEW LIFE that was in the Lambs Book of Life. The Lambs Book of Life that had been sealed since the foundation of the world. NOW ITS BEEN OPENED!. NOW YOU CAN SEE YOU ARE JUSTIFIED AND NEVER SINNED IN THE FIRST PLACE. God erasing what Adam done. He had it planned all the time.
See, why the prophet labored to tell us what happen when the seals were opened and time ended? It wasn’t physical time ended because that doesn’t end until after the millennium. No, time was over for the old man of sin! Forgiveness gave way to Justified. The Book of Life gave way to the Lambs Book of Life. The Lamb could leave the mercy seat to take His throne in the hearts of His children. It was time for Satan to be taken from the hearts of men. Satan was dethroned! Oh, he still has a throne in the hearts of many people in the world but from God’s people he has been taken away.
Oh my how we should praise God for what He has done in this our day! Right under the eyes of the most religious people in the world He is rapturing a Bride. Two are in the field and from one the old nature is taken and the other it isn’t. Two are in the bed and from one the old nature is taken and the other he isn’t!
GOD’S.ONLY.PROVIDED.PLACE.OF.WORSHIP_ SHP.LA V-7 N-4 SUNDAY_ 65-1128M
156 And remember–remember how we just went through the Church Ages? The messenger to the church always comes just at the dying of the other church age, always. The dying of the Pentecost brings forth the rapturing of the Bride. See? The dying of Luther brought forth Wesley. See? The dying of Wesley brought forth Pentecost. The dying of Pentecost brings forth the Message now. Here, it’s right here, patterned all through the Scripture. There’s not a scripture in the Bible but what hooks right one with the other. See? All these types. I have no education, but I have the Holy Spirit that shows me through another channel that teaches me that from nature; and that’s by the Word. Has to be the Word, brings His promise.

Yes, there must come a turning away and a dying of the old man but please go back and read the article again. Its about something greater than forgiveness.
