No, your soul spirit and body was not eternal. It had a time it started in creation. But the thought/seed of your soul, spirit, body IS eternal.

Before I close this subject, I know there is a question in your minds. You will want to know if I believe in the doctrine of preexistence. I don’t believe in that Mormon doctrine of the preexistence of souls any more than I believe in reincarnation or the transmigration of souls. Be careful here and see this. It is not the person that comes predestinated eternally from God, IT IS THE WORD, OR SEED. That is it. Way back there, too far back for the human mind to grasp, the Eternal God with eternal thoughts, thought and decreed,
We know that the prophet told us that the soul is the nature of our spirit. It is part of our humanity. Soul Spirit Body. It’s part of our creation.
Let me ask you a question? How could an eternal perfect soul come against God’s Word as Adam and Eve did in the beginning? Don’t take me wrong. God created Adam
exactly like He wanted him… a free moral agent. But a free moral agent could come against God, that was proven.
Are you following me on this. The prophet told us that God’s thoughts are perfect. How could one of God’s on thoughts come against Him when it was
expressed in the garden?

Now we don’t understand it. We have never become the Word; we’ve just become the flesh-man, not the Word.
Do you see that Jesus couldn’t fall because of how He come? Adam could fall because of the way he come.
The prophet said Adam was behind the Word and not yet the Word
The thought God had of us as lost, was thrown into the sea of God’s forgetfulness one day. It wasn’t a part of him anyway. If it was then he forgot
part of Himself!
BUT the thought God had of us as perfect was always in Him and could never be forgotten. It’s part of Him and has always been part of him.
See, when that which is perfect comes then that which is in part is done away with. What Adam started as was not finished because he was not yet the Word. He was coming to that. Just like each church in the church ages was not finished but being perfect in that hour, was coming to completion. But when the churhc ages ended and Christ took the Book of Redemption and interpreted it (brought it to pass) to the Bride it was the creative power of God speaking a perfect soul into the Bride. One that could not fall and one that has no will of it’s own.
Praise be to God! That should make us so happy! To know that our lineage is clean and our history is perfect. As the song goes, “We can trace our geneaolgy right straight back to God!”

170 The other is pregnated by the Word of God and will bring forth the Body, the finished Body of Jesus Christ, which is the Bride. The Body of Christ isn’t finished yet. How many knows that? A man and woman is one. And Christ is one Body, the Word. The Bride will have to be the rest of that Body. And the two, together, makes the one Body again. Like Adam was at the beginning: man, his wife, are one. Now, She, the true Bride, so sold out to Him, that She use no mind of Her own. His mind, of course, is His will, and His will is His Word.
What Adam and Eve had could choose right from wrong. This Bride has no mind of her own. That is being one with God. Nothing short of that will be accepted in this day.
